We are excited to team up with She Collected Jewelry!  Glendalys Sosa, a devoted mother to three wonderful children, a loving spouse, and a talented visual artist who transitioned from being a musician. Her acrylic jewelry collections are vibrant, bold, and truly unique.

Inspired by an experimental printmaking class in college, Caia began applying the same process to making unique t-shirts for her friends back in 2013. She began selling them at the Bard College craft fair under the name "SpiralEyez Designs" and has been slowly but steadily building what has transformed into a luxurious collection of embroidered jackets and accessories. Inspired by the ancient roots of her name, CAIA Designs celebrates the energy of Caia Caecilia, a Roman Goddess of Fire & Healing.

Originally from Rhode Island, Caia is based in New York City. After living in Los Angeles for 7 years working in the film industry as a production designer, she has now returned to her East Coast artist roots. She is always experimenting with new techniques and innovative designs that incorporate her love for patterns with the belief that everyone deserves clothes they feel truly themselves in. Her love of fashion & studio art come together in this ongoing experiment with making art you can wear.

Ayana Safiya is a small-batch accessories and home brand with a simple vision and one objective in mind: create timeless, refined pieces that effortlessly fit into your capsule collection. Their intentional designs are inspired by contemporary art and world travels fused with a keen understanding of shape, color and texture.Their pieces are incredibly light weight so can be worn from day into night. Each piece is handmade in Brooklyn, NY.

Michigan In-Store Events

Spring/Summer 2024

June 21st, 2024 | Suttons Bay Art Walk 
Location: 217 N St Joseph St, Suttons Bay, MI 49682

Join us for this year's Suttons Bay Art Walk from 5-8pm. We are excited to host Northern Michigan based artist, Noelle Wilde! 

"I was born and raised in Traverse City, and am happy to still call it home. I am a full time social work student with dreams of being a private practice counselor, while also continuing my glasswork. Currently I work out of my home, but I hope to have a proper studio someday! I am inspired by nature and by my love of plants in my artwork, but I particularly love doing custom work and bringing my client’s visions to life. When I am not doing glass you can find me reading a good book, snuggling my animals, dancing, sailing, and spending time with family and friends."

Further details about the Art Walk: From 5-8 PM is the kickoff to the summer season and your chance to visit participating shops, meet award-winning local artists, and sample Leelanau County Wines. 

A walking guide is created which includes the name of the participating merchants along with the artist they are hosting and a winery if they so choose to sponsor one. The guide will be stamped after visiting the store and at the end of the evening leave your card with one of the merchants and we will draw two names and each will win a $160 in gift certificates from  the participating businesses.

Celebrate Small Business Saturday with us and local Michigan brand, Vilah Bloom! Spend the morning with us and Vilah Bloom by to charm your own Vilah Bloom Bag. This mini pop up bagbar at our downtown Traverse City Flea location will be stocked with accessories for you to customize your Vilah Bloom bag all while enjoy some complimentary sweet treats. Walk ins welcome!

About the maker: Jackie Garrett is the founder and designer of Vilah Bloom. She is originally known for designing the first fashionable diaper bag to dispense wet wipes. She has since expanded her brand into handbags and accessories for the modern woman. Vilah Bloom  handbag collections are durable, cn be carried multiple ways, deliver high function and fashion at are 100% PETA approved. 

Jackie and her family reside in Petosky, Michigan, where Vilah Bloom is based.
